Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in a hospital setting in Barrington, IL. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial cardiovascular data. What You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist. RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) from CCI preferred. Minimum two years of experience in a Cath Lab or combined Cath/IR environment. IR experience preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications required. ARRT-R and ACLS preferred for invasive cardiac and IR tech roles. State licensure as required by Illinois. Experience with EPIC and MERGE charting systems preferred. Experience with invasive cardiology procedures including structural heart, TAVR, AAA repairs, and ablations preferred for RN roles. Ability to float between Cath Lab and IR based on skillset. Willingness to complete 1–3 days of orientation. Ability to work within a team of 3 people in the procedure room (2 nurses, 1 tech) and follow procedural scrub protocols. Preferred: experience with moderate sedation (Fentanyl and Versed) and ability to obtain onsite sign‑off. Facility type: Hospital. Shift: Days. Standard hours per week: 40. Unit: Combined Cath Lab/IR with dedicated Cath and IR staff; 4 procedure rooms. Floating: Candidate may float between Cath Lab and IR based on skillset. Call and weekend rotation expectations: weekend call coverage and holiday call as needed; nurse call approximately 1 week every 3 weeks; specific call schedule to be discussed with manager.
