Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in a clinical outpatient setting Administer medications, vaccines, and immunizations per provider orders Conduct patient assessments, vital signs, and document findings in the EMR system Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans, follow-ups, and health education Triage patient calls and in-office visits, prioritizing urgent care needs Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation Requirements Active RN or LPN license in the state of New York (required) Experience in pediatric, primary care, or outpatient clinical nursing preferred Strong knowledge of childhood immunization schedules and well-child care Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pediatric patients and families Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire About Us East Aurora Pediatrics PC has been a trusted name in children's healthcare in the East Aurora, NY community, providing compassionate and comprehensive care from infancy through adolescence.
