Respiratory Therapist - Emergency Department

Role: Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities Provide direct patient care utilizing respiratory therapy protocols, manage ventilators, airway support, and pulmonary treatments across various care levels. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes, prioritize evidence-based practices, and contribute to safety and quality at the point of care. Model proficiency through precepting and embrace ongoing learning in a dynamic clinical environment. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, registered as an RRT by NBRC, and possess BLS certification. Additional certifications include NRP (if assigned to NICU), PALS (if assigned to ED), and ACLS. Must demonstrate strong clinical skills, teamwork, and adaptability.
