Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing detailed patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting customized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously as per your credentials
• Educating patients and their families about disease prevention, healthy living, and disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with practice regulations
• Participating in chronic care management and patient follow-up
• Working in concert with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive, integrated care
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications and Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensing and Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Maryland
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
