Lead Veterinary Technician

Crestwood Crossing Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment—balancing exam room care, client communication, hands‑on procedural support, and leadership of daily team workflow . In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows while providing leadership and support to the technician team. Responsibilities will include helping coordinate daily workflow, prioritizing patient care needs, supporting team communication, and ensuring the team has the resources and direction needed to maintain an efficient hospital flow . You will contribute to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit while helping foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. Responsibilities include: Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Assisting in surgery Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment. Schedule and compensation: Compensation: $21- $23 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday . Saturdays on rotation. Full-time Benefits Package*: Bonus package: $2000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of Oklahoma.
