- Days - 3x12, 36hours / week
- Provide direct and indirect patient care to chemotherapy patients.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, NPs, nurse managers, and healthcare staff regarding patient conditions and policy updates.
- Monitor patients and respond promptly to changes in clinical or unit conditions to ensure safe, quality care.
- Administer chemotherapy medications and treatments as prescribed by qualified physicians/NPs.
- Perform triage, patient education, counseling, supervision, delegation, and related administrative duties.
- Initiate and maintain the computerized Plan of Care/Standard of Care upon admission.
- Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives.
- Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
- At least one year of acute care or medical/surgical nursing.
- Previous Oncology Experience.
- Oncology Nursing Certification or be prepared to obtain ideally within 3 years of date of hire.
- BLS and ONS is required
- Additional certifications may be required
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
