Job Title: Supervising Pharmacist

Position Summary

The Supervising Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate medication dispensing, and high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to help establish and support pharmacy operations in a patient-focused environment while leading workflow, staff support, and medication management processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate, safe, and efficient medication dispensing
Supervise pharmacy staff and support effective workflow management
Provide patient counseling and medication education
Manage pharmacy inventory, including medication ordering and stock monitoring
Maintain quality standards and promote a patient-centered pharmacy environment
Support the development and improvement of pharmacy operations and procedures

Qualifications

Active New York State Pharmacist License required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and medication safety standards
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a low-volume, patient-focused pharmacy setting
