BOOKKEEPER
Monday - Friday
9:00 am - 4:00 pm
$17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records for approximately eight employees.
- Calculate and submit payroll taxes and other required tax payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
- Record and reconcile income, expenses, bank accounts, and financial transactions.
- Manage, balance, and accurately track bingo funds.
- Prepare bingo fund reports and assist with quarterly fees and applicable tax filings.
- Maintain organized financial documents, receipts, reports, and supporting records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies while maintaining confidentiality.
- Perform other bookkeeping and administrative duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous bookkeeping experience required.
- Hands-on experience processing payroll and managing payroll tax filings and payments required.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks required.
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial recordkeeping.
- Experience tracking restricted or designated funds preferred.
- Knowledge of bingo fund reporting, quarterly fees, and applicable taxes is a plus; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and resolve discrepancies.
