This contract position for the upcoming 26/27 school year brings you onsite to work directly with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams. With a small caseload, you’ll have the chance to provide tailored support and foster meaningful connections. This role runs Monday through Friday, 8:45am–3:35pm, offering a balanced schedule within a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid CT Educator Certification required
• Master’s or Specialist-Level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Knowledge of psychological assessments, special education processes, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, consultation, and advocacy skills
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to support academic, social, and emotional growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families
• Provide individual and group counseling as needed
• Deliver crisis intervention and connect students with appropriate resources
• Consult with teachers and administrators to develop positive behavior interventions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation consistent with school and district standards
