The role requires strong mixology knowledge, the ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays. The expected pay rate is $25/hr.Your activities:Greet and engage customers with a smile in accordance with hospitality standardsPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and SOPsMaintain an organized bar area, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulationsProvide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and taking ordersRestock and maintain par levels, practicing FIFO rotation standardsBuss and sanitize tables, wash dishes and dispose of trash following all SOPsClean and wipe down surfaces, maintaining high levels of cleanliness at all timesSweep, mop and vacuum floors as needed or as instructedAssist with deliveries, stock rotation and organization of inventoryBid passengers a farewell and encourage their returnOther duties as assignedYour profile:Bartenders must be 21 years of age or olderPrevious experience in bartending or similar role within the food or beverage industry requiredStrong knowledge of various drink recipes, mixology techniques and bar equipmentGood command of the English language both verbal and writtenHigh school diploma or equivalentReliable transportation to and from the airportAble to lift 50 lbs. without assistanceAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant settingPhysically able to be on your feet during an entire shift (8-10 hrs.); walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouchingPositive attitude, excellent communication and willingness to get along with co-workersAbility to pass a 10 yr. federal background checkFood Handler's license and Responsible Beverage Service license or the ability to obtainWillingness to work early mornings, late nights and/or weekends and holidaysWhat to Expect After You Apply:Your application is the first step in your aviation career. Attending an onsite event allows you to interview in person and immediately move forward in the process if you receive an offer. Onsite, you'll also complete required onboarding paperwork and pre-employment screening, which may include an oral fluid drug screen. Because our employees work in secure airport environments, and safety is the standard in our operations, you will also need to complete the required airport security-clearance (badging) process and Swissport training before beginning work.
