Summary Responsible for identifying and documenting necessary body repair work for customers. Responsible for scheduling body work to be performed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Schedules appointments with customers. Works with customers and Collision Center Technicians to identify required repair work. Offers additional services and repairs to customers. Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to the condition specified by customer. Enters itemized estimate on repair order and explains estimate to customer. Meets Collision Center standards for repair/order production. Maintains CSI at or above company standards. Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area. Participates in required training. Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system. Follows Safeguards rules and regulations. Demonstrates the company’s core values. Complies with company policies and procedures. Observes all federal, state, local and company safety rules and regulations. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and persuasive selling skills. Working knowledge of body repair methods. Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, company personnel and insurance adjusters. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to understand and follow technical manuals. Education GED or High School Diploma. Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, or Doctorate Degree. Desired Work Experience Up to 3 years. 3–5 years. 5+ years. Certificates and Licenses Valid driver’s license. Automobile salesperson license. Computer Skills Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Collision Center Management System and additional software programs to support operations. Attendance Expectations The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Physical and Environment Demands Requires standing, walking, and sitting. May be exposed to noise, vibration, paint dust, and other shop conditions. Duties performed in collision center area; frequent interaction with customers, technicians, and company personnel.
