- Required Experience: Must have 3 years of L&D experience, must have mother baby experience (prefer 1 year). - Preferred Experience: Charge nurse experience preferred. - Leadership Experience: Charge nurse experience preferred. Admin Supervisor on every shift. Charge RNs do not take an assignment. - Clinical Experience: Must have experience and be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, circulate C/S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care. Must have experience with magnesium. - Certifications: NPR (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), STABLE. - Skills: Must have experience and be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, Circulate C/S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care. Must have experience with magnesium. RNs required to titrate drips: Pitocin Protocol, Magnesium Protocol, Insulin drips (occasionally). Must be able to stabilize, do physical assessment and cares within the first 2 hours, and be a 2nd sign off on meds. - Licensure: License to Submit: Yes. - Qualifications: Okay with a first time traveler. Must have 3 years of L&D experience. Must have mother baby experience (prefer 1 year). Must have experience with magnesium and be able to circulate C/S and provide Postpartum Couplet Care.
