Registered Nurse

This position involves working in a straight rehabilitation unit. The role is for a med/surg nurse for 13 weeks. Every other weekend obligation is required. Holidays may be needed as per the schedule. Float within skillset if census is low. There is no call requirement. 75% of patients are post-acute stroke cases, with some cardiac patients, as well as patients experiencing weakness, deconditioning, and those needing acute rehabilitation. The unit is small, accommodating 17 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
