Post-Doctoral NIH Rsch Fellow

Overview Responsible for providing safe, effective and compassionate care to Brown University Health patients under supervision, commensurate with the individual's level of advancement and responsibility. Participate fully in the educational activities of the applicable program. Responsibilities Full‑time research and training as appropriate for the individual's training plan. The fellow will be matched with a research mentor based on interests, experience, and mentor availability. Individually tailored goals will be established. Review relevant literature and participate in a range of research activities Complete pilot projects or examine data from the mentor’s line of research Prepare manuscripts and presentations for national conferences Develop and submit research proposals during the fellowship period Complement research activities with didactic educational opportunities and mentorship Minimum Qualifications PhD with a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline or MD with relevant residency training, or a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline Completion of a relevant doctoral degree or MD and relevant residency with experience working within a research team Ability to perform independently within the department’s policies and practices Refer specific complex problems to the supervisor when clarification of departmental policies and procedures is required Supervision of fellows is expected dependent upon research Compensation Pay Range: $58,489.60-$96,491.20 EEO Statement Brown University Health is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and maintaining a work environment free from all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
