Work Environment

Located in the heart of Middleburg, our rehabilitation facility is an inviting and supportive environment where healthcare professionals work collaboratively to elevate patient care. You will be joining a small yet effective team comprised of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. As a full-time team member, you can expect to engage in daily interactions with both colleagues and patients in a busy yet rewarding onsite setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to identify goals and requirements for treatment.
• Manage a patient caseload with an emphasis on individualized care, averaging one patient per hour.
• Utilize your expertise to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate evidence-based techniques tailored to meet the needs of diverse patients.
• Implement a variety of treatments aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and flexibility while reducing pain.
• Focus on providing cost-effective treatments to improve patients' functional capabilities, thereby reducing dependence on medications and avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Create personalized fitness and wellness programs that encourage a proactive approach to health and recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment and modify plans as needed.
• Motivate and educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through improved strength, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from various orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including procedures related to fractures, joint replacements, and sports injuries. Our diverse patient population ranges from adolescents to seniors, all of whom come to us seeking guidance and support in regaining their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate Degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Cleans record with no history of disciplinary actions or board complaints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of rehabilitation protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that promote effective patient relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Strong background in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT for patient documentation.
• Experience in developing exercise protocols specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
