**Responsibilities:**

* Assist veterinarians and veterinary students with medical procedures, diagnostic tests, and patient care under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian
* Prepare patients for examinations, surgeries, and other procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
* Take and develop x-rays, perform laboratory tests, and collect biopsy samples
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments, medications, and test results
* Provide emotional support and education to pet owners, addressing any concerns or questions they may have about their pet's health
* Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of patient care
* Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

**Requirements:**

* Associates degree or higher in Veterinary Technology or a related field
* Certificate of Veterinary Technology (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification
* Prior experience as a Veterinary Technician, with a focus on small animal care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pet owners, veterinarians, and other team members
* Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
* Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology
