RN Unit ManagerBrookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a premier long-term care facility in Abignton, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team. As a Unit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to our residents. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our unit and providing compassionate care to our residents.Shift Type: Full-time (Monday thru Friday)Benefits:A competitive salary and benefits programHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time Off401KLife InsuranceResponsibilities:Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident careAssess signs and symptoms indicating changes in the patient's conditionDocument the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventionsPerform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standardsRevises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventionsUses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing prioritiesOn-call rotationQualifications:Must be a licensed RN with a valid licenseMust have at least 2 years of experience as a Unit Manager in Long-term careFamiliarity with Federal, State, and local long-term care requirementsLong-term care experiencePoint Click Care (PCC) knowledgeExcellent communication skillsAbout Us:At Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, we believe that all of our residents, their family members, and our team of professionals are special.
