Primary Care Sales Consultant – Las Vegas North Purpose – The Primary Care Sales Consultant (SC) is accountable for implementing sales strategies for approved Cardiorenal and upcoming menopause products. The role drives demand, clinical education, and sales through a strategic business plan targeting Primary Care Physicians in community settings. The position reports to the CVR Area General Manager (AGM) and collaborates with Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and other internal partners within the Area Customer Squad to achieve US Pharma outcomes. The coverage area includes Las Vegas, Nevada (North) and St. George, Utah. Travel may be up to 50% within the territory. The role is residence‑based; candidates must be domiciled within the territory. Responsibilities Build and develop professional relationships with primary care physicians, pharmacy staff, and other assigned customers. Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products, working closely with the Customer Squad to generate pull‑through within local payers and community HCPs. Leverage expertise in the diabetes, cardiovascular, and menopause markets to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges. Provide relevant, thoughtful input to commercial colleagues (e.g., sales leadership, regional account managers) for strategic and tactical planning. Develop and implement effective customer‑specific business plans, communicating insights to internal stakeholders. Prioritize activities to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential. Understand fully the assigned customers’ product and business needs while adhering to Bayer ethics and compliance standards. Identify potential barriers to achievement of goals and propose responsible solutions. Handle customer objections effectively and exceed customer expectations, sharing exemplary skills in a regional training capacity when needed. Leverage and embrace emerging technologies to enhance performance and continuously improve proficiency. Comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines and regulations, maintaining a high ethical standard in daily work. Qualifications Required – Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or similar relevant experience. Proven ability to develop and sustain long‑standing customer relationships. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and commitment to ethical behavior, compliance with company policies, and applicable laws. Ability to comply with customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., vaccinations, trainings). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Preferred – Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive landscapes. 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales. In‑depth knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes, and/or menopause disease states. Product launch experience. Strong analytical and computer skills. Virtual sales experience. Strong local relationships with HCPs and understanding of the local market. Compensation & Benefits Employees can expect a salary between $120,960.00 and $181,440.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, and more.
