Purpose Primary Care Sales Consultant (SC) is accountable for implementing sales strategies for approved CV product and will drive launch activities for an anticipated menopause product. Responsibilities include driving demand, clinical education and sales by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan for Primary Care Physicians, primarily in community settings. The role reports to the CVR Area General Manager and collaborates closely with Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services and other internal partners to drive US Pharma outcomes. Scope of Coverage Las Vegas & Henderson, NV and St. George, UT. Travel up to 50% within the territory. Position is residence based and candidate must be domiciled within the territory. Key Responsibilities Build and develop professional relationships with primary care and pharmacy staff within assigned customers. Drive appropriate utilization of approved CV and menopause products and work with the Customer Squad to generate pull‑through within local payers and community HCPs. Leverage expertise and market knowledge to anticipate and manage business opportunities and challenges. Provide relevant input to commercial colleagues regarding strategic and tactical planning for territory, area, and region. Develop and implement effective customer‑specific business plans and communicate insights to internal stakeholders. Prioritize time and effort to ensure optimal coverage of appropriate physician specialists based on opportunity and potential. Understand customers’ product and business needs and meet those needs while adhering to Bayer company ethics and compliance standards. Anticipate potential barriers, propose responsible solutions. Handle customer objections effectively and exceed expectations. Occasionally serve in a training capacity within the region. Leverage emerging technologies to enhance performance and continuously improve proficiency. Comply with pharmaceutical industry guidelines, regulations and ethical standards. Qualifications Proven track record of consistent high performance in a sales role or relevant experience. Proven ability to develop long‑standing relationships with customers. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated leadership with an ethical environment and compliance with laws. Compliance with customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., vaccinations, trainings). Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of relevant sales experience in competitive landscapes. 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales. In‑depth knowledge of cardiovascular, diabetes, and/or menopause disease states. Product launch experience. Strong analytical and computer capabilities. Virtual sales experience. Strong local relationships with HCPs and understanding of local market. Compensation & Benefits Employees can expect a salary ranging from $120,960 to $181,440. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, paid time off and sick leave.
