Description This posting is for Associate Patient Services Specialist, Patient Services Specialist, and Senior Patient Services Specialist positions. Responsibilities Under the general supervision of the Manager, Patient Access/Scheduling, the specialist performs patient registration and pre‑registration of scheduled accounts, verifies insurance coverage and benefits, obtains pre‑certification, referral, or authorizations as required, collects up‑front revenue for the facility, and provides quality customer service to internal and external customers. Associate Patient Services Specialist Shift: Full time, Day Shift, 40 working hours weekly Required Qualifications: 6 months customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications: General office experience. Salary Range (Richland, WA): Min: $20.93, Max: $32.07 Patient Services Specialist Shift: Full time, Variable Shift, 40 working hours weekly Required Qualifications: 2 years general office experience with public interaction; 1 year patient access experience. Preferred Qualifications: Data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience; medical setting experience. Salary Range (Richland, WA): Min: $21.92, Max: $33.62 Senior Patient Services Specialist Shift: Full time, Variable Shift, 40 working hours weekly Required Qualifications: 2 years general office experience with public interaction; 3 years patient access experience. Preferred Qualifications: Courses in keyboarding and office practices; courses in medical terminology; Epic credentialing upon hire; data entry, medical terminology and insurance experience; medical setting experience.
