Position Overview

Seekonk Grand Prix is looking for an energetic, reliable, and fast-paced Fry Cook to join our Pit Stop Food Trailer team! This position is responsible for preparing high-quality fried foods quickly and safely while delivering a fun, race-day experience for our guests.

If you thrive in a high-volume environment and can handle the heat of the kitchen during peak race nights and summer weekends, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook fried menu items (fries, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, etc.)
Maintain proper oil temperatures and fryer safety standards
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
Keep workstation clean, stocked, and organized
Assist with inventory and restocking supplies
Communicate clearly with team members to maintain fast service times
Provide friendly guest interaction when needed

Qualifications

Previous fry cook or quick-service kitchen experience preferred (but not required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to food safety and cleanliness
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays during peak season
