The ideal candidate will have proven experience in inventory management and a strong attention to detail./ppThis position works in conjunction with the site Operations Manager to maintain accurate inventory levels in their location. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventories. Handles all paperwork and follows all procedures to meet this goal. Verifies all orders received and shipped and ensures that the orders are properly accounted for in the companys records. Accounts for all defective or damaged products and follows with appropriate corrective action. Manages and reconciles all cycle counts./ppResponsibilities:/pulliPerform cycle counts daily as assigned./liliInvestigate inventory discrepancies found through cycle counts and determine root cause of the problem./liliPull slow moving or obsolete inventory as requested by the customer in order to dispose, salvage, or donate. This may include physically lifting or moving product or materials./liliProcess returned shipments by unloading the trailer and determining what is first quality or damaged inventory./liliEnsure that all proper written documentation is signed off and filed./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpLocation: Edgerton, KS (on-site) Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1st Shift Compensation: $19.50/hr./ppHigh School diploma/GED or one-year related experience in inventory control and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred./ppRequires knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices. Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems required./ppSkills in mathematics, personal computers (Excel) and spreadsheets are vital./ppInterpersonal and communication skills are important./ppAccuracy and thoroughness required with great attention to detail./ppAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals./ppAbility to write routine reports and correspondence./p/div
