ESD / Latch-Up Test Technician (Contract)

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Execute semiconductor qualification stress testing including HBM, CDM, and latch-up testing.

- Prepare devices, sockets, and stress boards for qualification runs.

- Operate and monitor Thermo Fisher ESD test platforms (MK2 / MK4) and related lab equipment.

- Perform tester diagnostics, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.

- Conduct oscilloscope calibration measurements and verification checks.

- Collect and organize pre-stress and post-stress curve trace data.

- Maintain test boards, sockets, and overall lab hardware readiness.

- Support lab maintenance activities, calibration tracking, and ISO documentation compliance.

- Assist with test chip and early silicon characterization activities.

- Coordinate with ATE teams for device handling, debugging, and test readiness.

- Document procedures and contribute to standard work instructions and lab process improvements.

Education:

- Associate degree or technical training in electronics, semiconductor technology, or related field preferred.

- Equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor reliability or product development lab environment preferred.

Required Skills:

- Experience with ESD, CDM, or latch-up stress testing.

- Knowledge of semiconductor reliability testing methodologies.

- Ability to operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes and ESD test systems.

- Experience with tester diagnostics and troubleshooting.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test procedures.

- Ability to work in cross-functional engineering environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Thermo Fisher MK2 / MK4 or similar ESD test platforms.

- Familiarity with reliability testing such as HTOL, ELFR, WE, or PTC.

- Experience with lab calibration programs and ISO documentation standards.
