What You’ll Do
The DGA seeks a Contracts Coordinator to work in the Guild’s national headquarters in Los Angeles, CA to assist with the FLTTA and other non-dramatic contracts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Contracts team and Executives on enforcement of the FLTTA and on various organizing objectives
- Comprehensive understanding of DGA contracts covering employment in the film and television industry
- Outreach to DGA members and studio representatives to discuss employment issues, economic rights & creative rights
- Filing grievances when necessary to resolve contract disputes
- Develop and drive contract enforcement campaigns
- Support executive team in collective bargaining research and preparation
- Prepare and present staff reports at relevant council meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements :
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work closely with a team as well as independently
- Intellectual curiosity
- Flexibility, organization, and ability to prioritize
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations professionally
- Comfort communicating with a wide range of individuals, including member leaders, attorneys, agents, and non-members
- Excellent analytical and computer skills; proficiency with Excel
- Previous experience with union representation helpful but not required
- Work onsite 5 days per week.
- Undergraduate degree required.
Starting Salary Range: $68,000-75,000 depending on experience

This position is on-site at our Los Angeles headquarters 5 days a week.
