Machine Operators

A mid-sized, stable manufacturer in Winston‑Salem is looking for machine operators. As a Machine Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in production. The company is locally owned, has been a model of stability in the area for years, and has good opportunities for growth. Applicants should have a solid work history and mechanical aptitude. Duties: Operate and monitor various types of machines. Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper functioning. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Use hand tools and other equipment as necessary to perform job duties. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications. Qualifications: Basic math skills Ability to use dial calipers, snap gages, and micrometers. Prior manufacturing experience. Ability to be on their feet for several hours. Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks. Basic understanding of machining principles and techniques.
