Should be a role model in hourly rounding and handoff and available to coach and validate other non-licensed personnel in these expected behaviors. Will function as an informal leader and assist unit leadership in holding non-licensed personal accountable for core values. Will assist unit leadership with non-licensed personal scheduling.Will be an advocate and help drive organizational initiatives. Will be active members of the Tech Engagement Committee and attend greater than 50% of the meetings.OverviewKelemen 8 is a medical-surgical unit that cares for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, illnesses and disease processes. North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges. Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room. There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family. Experience RequiredHas worked at Cooper University Hospital for at least one year, with experience on the unit strongly preferred.
