As an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, you will leverage your clinical skills and expertise to provide and oversee care for patients in a vibrant Stepdown environment. This position allows you to collaborate with a supportive team and gain invaluable experience in a respected facility.
- Deliver exceptional care to patients in the Stepdown unit
- Work alongside the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Employ EPIC EMR for precise and efficient documentation
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5-6 during night shifts
- Participate in weekend shifts as part of your regular schedule
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care environment
- Active nursing license in Illinois at the time of application
- Experience with EPIC is mandatory
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Professional references from the past 24 months are preferred
- Valid Driver’s License is required
