- Perform audits of work areas to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 procedures and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of product build documentation for configuration audits to determine whether as-built configurations meet as-designed requirements.
- Act as a safety representative during critical and hazardous operations, promoting safe practices and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist in developing training materials for the quality assurance (QA) group to support consistent inspection practices and standards.
- Develop training material for the assigned QA group and maintain documentation that supports onboarding and ongoing skills development.
- Train and mentor new hires or less-experienced personnel in at least one skill identified on the skills matrix for the assigned area of work.
- Use micrometers and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and tolerances on inspected components and assemblies.
- Utilize Microsoft applications and other computer programs to complete inspection reports, documentation reviews, and audit records.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
