VP, Senior Lead Business Systems Analyst

The Senior Lead Business Systems Analyst approves that designed system solutions are appropriate for business needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Working closely with senior leadership, this job manages large projects, processes and establishes operational plans.Key Responsibilities and DutiesLiaise closely with all Middle & Back Office operations and technology application teams to generate business and Eagle application functional requirement documents and design specifications for both BAU and strategic enterprise level projects Conduct workshops with technical architects and infrastructure teams to manage solution design delivery and ensure that the product delivery meets the complete business requirements Act as a SME and business point of escalation for key production issues Document current state functional workflows across the business areas defined in the summary and design end to end strategic workflows meeting key business and operational needs Lead the preparation and coordination of integration and user acceptance testing across multiple applications and business stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved in a pragmatic and timely manner Prepare and provide ongoing project communications, reporting status, risks, and issues to the Steering Committees, PMO, and IT leadership Manage IT and Operations Stakeholder’s expectations in support of multiyear roadmap projects goals and deliverables Assist in creating and managing project plans using Project Management Tools to manage projects related to the functional areas described in the summary sectionEducational RequirementsBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience Required Work Experience5+ Years Required; 7+ Years PreferredPhysical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary WorkCareer Level 9ICRequired Skills:5+ years of experience in the financial services industry leading business analysis for complex, strategically relevant initiatives.Ability to document current-state and target-state business functional workflows using tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.Experience in capturing, clarifying, and documenting business and technical requirements from a range of stakeholders.Experience with translating complex business goals into actionable requirements for technical teams, while effectively communicating technical constraints to business leaders.Experience proposing strategic improvements, evaluating software tools, and designing new operational workflows, with a strong focus on automation and efficiencyExperience with Job scheduling tools (like Autosys), File transfer systems (like Sterling Integrator), and ETL tools such as IBM DataStage.Experience with production monitoring applications such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and CloudWatch.Hands-on experience with change management, release management, and incident management processes.Strong work experience with database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server and MongoDB.Experience with Cloud Technologies (AWS, S3, RDS, Glue, VPC, Snowflake Starburst) and supporting applications hosted on cloud.Ability to write complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data from large datasets within a Data Mart.Experience with messaging services such as IBM MQ and/or Kafka.Preferred SkillsExperience working with data lake and data lakehouse architectures.Experience to AI tools for production support and enhancement initiatives.Solid understanding of business concepts related to Corporate Actions, Trade Processing, Portfolio Accounting, Performance, Reference Data, FactSet, Fund Launch, Tableau Reports, Entity Stream, Derivatives workflows, and Collateral Management.Related SkillsAcceptance Testing, Business Analysis, Business Process Improvement, Business Process Mapping, Business Process Understanding, Business Requirements, Collaboration, Data Analysis, IT Business Analysis, Systems Design/Analysis, Systems Development Life Cycle, Technical Documentation, Test PlanningAnticipated Posting End Date:2026-09-29Base Pay Range: $136,000/yr - $180,000/yrActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
