Material HandlerAs a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the reconditioning of heat exchange plates. This involves removing old rubber gaskets, power washing the plates, testing for cracks or holes, washing and drying, gluing new gaskets, transferring into the oven, and packaging for shipment.ResponsibilitiesRecondition heat exchange plates by removing old rubber gaskets.Clean plates using power washers and test them for defects such as cracks or holes.Use a black light and special material to identify defects in the plates.Wash and dry plates after testing.Glue new gaskets onto the plates and transfer them into an oven to adhere.Cool and package plates for shipment.Essential Skills1 year of manufacturing or production experience.Attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a team.Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.Self-motivation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with general labor, packing, production, material handling, assembly, and packaging.Proficiency in using hand tools and forklifts.Cleaning and maintenance skills.Why Work Here?Join a small team environment with promising advancement opportunities, as demonstrated by a production supervisor who started as an entry-level employee. This is a first-shift opportunity from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
