Job Title: Material Handler Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the reconditioning of heat exchange plates. This involves removing old rubber gaskets, power washing the plates, testing for cracks or holes, washing and drying, gluing new gaskets, transferring into the oven, and packaging for shipment.

Use a black light and special material to identify defects in the plates.

Wash and dry plates after testing.

Experience with general labor, packing, production, material handling, assembly, and packaging.

Proficiency in using hand tools and forklifts.

The facility is not climate-controlled, and you will be part of a team of 12 employees who enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. This is a first-shift opportunity from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ankeny, IA.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
