Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN license (New York only) Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association only) required. Must-Have: - Orthopedic experience - Telemetry experience Description: This position involves rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights. Floating to different units, working weekends and holidays, and being on-call may be required based on unit need. This unit specializes in orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and other elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. The unit is recognized for research and innovation, offering many opportunities for education and professional growth. Nurses can expect to be part of an enthusiastic and supportive team. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team player. Experience in a Level 1 trauma facility is preferred.
