Job Description RN – Main ICU at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. 0.9 FTE (Full‑Time), Night Shift position with three 12‑hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays. A Day in the Life of an ICU RN No two days are the same in the ICU. You will begin each shift with a thorough handoff and patient assessment, rapidly adapting to changes in vital signs and clinical status. You will manage life‑saving equipment such as ventilators, central lines, and multiple drips, acting as both advocate and anchor for patients and their families. Whether responding to emergencies, coordinating with intensivists and specialists, or celebrating recovery milestones, you will be part of a team that stays calm under pressure and is fiercely committed to patient‑centered care. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program Registered Nurse license upon hire Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) upon hire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification (American Heart Association) upon hire National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate within 90 days of hire At least 1 year of nursing experience Why Join Providence?
