Overview

We’re seeking a Regional Product Specialist (Hematology) to drive demand creation and adoption of Hemanext ONE hypoxic red blood cells across hospitals in the Western USA.

In this role, you will act as a territory owner, responsible for engaging and influencing treating hematologists and key hospital stakeholders to recognize the clinical and therapeutic benefits of Hemanext ONE compared to conventional blood products.

You will work closely with internal colleagues — including the Blood Bank Account Manager and cross-functional marketing and clinical teams — to execute regional strategies, build advocacy, and grow access within priority hospitals and health systems.

This role requires ~50% of travel around the West Coast. You must reside on the Western half of the US.

About the Role…

• Identify, segment, and prioritize target accounts and treating clinicians within the hematology and transfusion ecosystem.
• Build strong relationships with hematologists, transfusion medicine physicians, and hospital decision makers to drive demand for Hemanext ONE.
• Create and deliver value-based, data-driven discussions that highlight the clinical advantages of hypoxically stored red blood cells.
• Partner closely with the Blood Bank Account Manager to ensure alignment between clinical demand and supply-side access.
• Map and influence the decision-making process for blood product procurement and transfusion protocol adoption within hospitals.
• Lead local demand generation activities — including educational meetings, webinars, and conference participation — in collaboration with Marketing and Medical Affairs.
• Gather and communicate market intelligence and voice-of-customer insights to inform commercial strategy and market access planning.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pipeline activity, and territory performance metrics.
• Serve as the regional field expert for the clinical and operational value proposition of Hemanext ONE.
