Hotel Night Auditor

Location TownePlace Suites Albany Airport, 5 Forts Ferry Road, Latham, NY 12110, USA About the Position The TownePlace Suites Latham is seeking a Night Auditor to join their team. The Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during overnight hours and provides superior service to all guests. Responsibilities Greeting guests, completing the check‑in/check‑out procedure through the Property Management System while obtaining and storing pertinent information. Handling cash, credit card information and goods at the property. Identifying the needs of each guest and providing relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment; responding to all guest requests in a timely manner. Taking reservations from incoming callers, inputting all pertinent information into the hotel management system, updating and cancelling reservations as requested. Organizing previous shifts paperwork, closing and balancing all room accounts and vouchers, investigating and analyzing out of balance situations, running trial balance reports and night audit. Hours & Compensation Hours: 11 PM – 7 AM. Shift differential bonus for working overnight. Pay: $18.25 per hour. Qualifications Customer Service experience in a hotel setting preferred. Marriott experience is a plus. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, WORD, and EXCEL strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval. Weekend availability needed. Benefits Paid Weekly (Every Friday!)
