Senior Workers' Compensation Defense AttorneyOverview
We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join a growing California defense practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who values autonomy, professional growth, flexibility, and a collaborative work environment.
What You'll DoManage your own workers' compensation defense caseload from inception through resolution.
Take and defend depositions.
Appear at MSCs, lien conferences, hearings, and trials.
Provide strategic legal advice and litigation guidance to employers, insurance carriers, and TPAs.
Negotiate favorable settlements and litigate cases when necessary.
Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff in a team-oriented environment.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and practical legal solutions.
3+ years of California workers' compensation defense experience.
Active California Bar license and good standing.
Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation law and WCAB procedures.
Excellent deposition, negotiation, and litigation skills.
Ability to independently manage a caseload while working collaboratively with colleagues.
Strong written advocacy and communication skills.
Excellent organizational, attention-to-detail, and case-management abilities.
