Training Specialist

Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:45 AM 5:15 PM
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

We're looking for an experienced Training Specialist to join a collaborative team supporting a new customer service and call center operation. This is an exciting opportunity to help build training programs, coach employees, and contribute to the successful launch of a new cloud-based call center environment.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual training programs.
Facilitate new hire onboarding and ongoing employee training.
Create and update training materials, job aids, presentations, and reference guides.
Assess trainee performance and provide coaching and feedback to improve knowledge and performance.
Partner with leadership to identify training needs and recommend learning solutions.
Track training progress, analyze performance data, and recommend process improvements.
Support multiple training projects while ensuring deadlines and business objectives are met.
Deliver training to employees, business partners, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 3 years of related experience , including 2 years of training experience and 1 year of insurance or related industry experience .
Experience developing training materials and facilitating classroom or virtual instruction.
Strong presentation, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
Excellent project management and time management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training technologies.
Experience with call center applications and quality management software is preferred.
Experience with Amazon Connect is a plus.
