Senior Python Engineer (Asynchronous & AWS)

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Engineer to join our core engineering team. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance backend services that leverage asynchronous programming patterns to handle complex data processing tasks at scale. Your work will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of our cloud-native infrastructure. In this role, you will work extensively within the AWS ecosystem, architecting solutions that utilize services such as Lambda, SQS, and ECS to support our distributed systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize existing codebases and implement new features, ensuring that our asynchronous workflows remain robust and maintainable. Your daily tasks will involve code reviews, performance tuning, and infrastructure-as-code deployments. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of professional experience in backend development. You must demonstrate a deep understanding of Python's asyncio library and event-driven architectures. Given our global operations, you are required to have full professional fluency in both English and Spanish to communicate effectively with our distributed team members and stakeholders.
