About the Role:

The General Laborer at KOP plays a crucial role in two categories: 1. Dough Handlers and 2 Packaging Employees. The jobs for each group are unique. The main purpose of the Dough Handlers is to transfer dough from the bowls to the APV hopper, to check the dough for contamination and to verify the weight of the product. 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds on an ongoing basis
• Must not have any food allergies such as eggs or nuts
• Must be able to work in a damp and cool (under 70 degrees) environment

Skills:

The required skills such as physical stamina and the ability to follow instructions are essential for performing daily manual labor tasks safely and efficiently. Candidates will use their knowledge of safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment, which is critical in preventing accidents. Preferred skills like familiarity with tools and machinery enhance productivity by enabling the laborer to assist more effectively and take on additional responsibilities. Communication skills are used daily to coordinate with team members and supervisors, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on schedule. Overall, these skills combine to support a cohesive, efficient, and safe worksite that meets project goals.
