Location: Valparaiso, IN Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician to start IMMEDIATELY at $20.00/hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire! Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime
- Maintain and repair mixers, ovens, conveyors, fillers, refrigeration, and packaging lines
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards including sanitation and HACCP protocols
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred
- Experience in industrial maintenance, ideally in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including PLCs
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- PLC troubleshooting and automation
- Food-grade equipment, sanitation standards, and HACCP protocols
- Mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Welding and fabrication experience (preferred)
