About the Opportunity

A nationally recognized architecture and interior design firm in the Atlanta metropolitan area is seeking an Architectural Designer to join their project delivery team. This firm has built a strong reputation for design excellence across healthcare, education, worship, and commercial markets, and is actively growing its design staff to meet increasing project demand.

This role is ideal for a motivated early-to-mid career designer with 2 to 5 years of professional experience who is ready to contribute to real projects, grow their technical skills, and advance toward licensure inside a firm that actively supports that path.

What You Will Do

• Produce accurate architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD in alignment with firm standards
• Participate in design sessions and contribute to architectural concepts across multiple project types
• Translate design ideas into plans, elevations, sections, details, and 3D models
• Coordinate architectural documents with consultant engineers and specialists
• Incorporate revisions and redlines from senior staff with accuracy and attention to detail
• Conduct code research to ensure design compliance
• Assist with schedules, specifications, and project documentation
• Prepare client and internal presentation materials, including renderings and graphic presentations
• Attend client and consultant meetings to gain exposure to project management and client relations
• Support site visits to verify design implementation

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited university
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in an architecture or design firm
• Proficiency in Revit (model production and construction documentation)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Established NCARB record (or actively working toward establishing one)
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to work across multiple project types
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment

Bonus Points

• Proficiency in Lumion, Enscape, SketchUp, or Rhino for visualization and rendering
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Active ARE candidate or completed ARE exams
• LEED AP, EDAC, or sustainability credentials
• Experience in healthcare, education, or civic project types

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary: $55,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience
• Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision
• Active support for ARE preparation and licensure advancement
