Bed Placement RN CoordinatorWe are seeking a dedicated Bed Placement RN Coordinator to join our team. This role will function within the Admit/Transfer Center, focusing on patient admissions and transfers in a dynamic hospital environment.Responsibilities:Coordinate patient placements in the hospital, ensuring efficient use of resources.Facilitate admissions and transfers within various units.Collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient flow and adherence to care standards.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health records system.Demonstrate flexibility with shift lengths, alternating between 10 and 12-hour shifts.Qualifications:Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a house supervisor or in a transfer center role.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Schedule:Weekend availability required, with a rotation every other weekend.No block schedules are implemented.Night shifts available from 20:00 to 06:30.Facility Highlights:Short-Term Acute CareLevel II Trauma CenterLevel II Pediatric Trauma CenterTotal of 629 staffed bedsTeaching hospital environmentCharting done via EpicNo parking fees for staffClient Details State WA
