Receptionist : Rock Falls, Illinois

Our customer in Rock Falls, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting a Receptionist to work full-time on 1st shift. As Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, prospects, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support that helps every department operate efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist :

Administrative & Task Management

• Manage tasks and maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
• Document client, carrier, and team communications.
• Process client payments and walk-in requests.
• Maintain activity lists, due dates, and follow up on needed corrections.
• Coordinate with team members regarding carrier communications and requests.

Office Operations

• Follow daily office opening and closing procedures.
• Keep common areas clean, organized, and meeting-ready.
• Greet visitors and provide general administrative support.
• Assist with appointments, client documentation, and office inquiries.

Mail & Data Management

• Process incoming and outgoing mail and documents.
• Scan, distribute, and attach documents within the management system.
• Manage the general email inbox and route communications appropriately.
• Complete daily carrier downloads and maintain accurate client records.

Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous receptionist, customer service, administrative assistant, or office support experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with computers, email, and office software applications.
• Ability to learn agency management systems and office procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and follow-through.

Pay for Receptionist : $17-$19/hour.
