Job Description

Job Summary:
The Certified Nurse Assistant provides compassionate support to residents by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort within a skilled nursing facility. This role plays a vital part in maintaining residents' well-being and delivering quality care in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as toileting, transferring, bathing, and grooming.
• Report any changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse.
• Obtain vitals, weights, and other relevant health information accurately.
• Follow facility policies to ensure resident safety and well-being.
• Document and report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the charge nurse.

Qualifications:

• Hold and maintain a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Possess current BLS certification.
• Have at least 1 year of related healthcare experience preferred.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exhibit compassionate, respectful communication skills.
