Position Details:
Patient Population: Patients with musculoskeletal conditions
Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities: Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions; develop treatment plans; perform orthopedic surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; participate in rotating call coverage; maintain patient medical records; communicate with patients and healthcare team; participate in continuing medical education; adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Required Procedures: Joint replacements, fracture repairs, arthroscopy, and other orthopedic interventions
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Multidisciplinary teams including primary care providers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists
On-Call/Weekends: Rotating call schedule; weekends as required per rotating schedule

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery - Required
• Valid Vermont medical license to practice as an orthopedic surgeon - Required
• Clean Malpractice History - Required
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - Required
