Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children's wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Montreal.The Trim Development Assistant will support the Fabric/Trim, Design, and Sourcing teams to track and catalog developments throughout the course of the materials lifecycle.Key Accountabilities:Assist with maintaining seasonal trim assortments to ensure information is accurate and up to dateHelp update trim standard charts and prepare materials for bi-weekly team reviewsHelp ensure the materials library is organized and easily accessible for designers to accessSupport communication with overseas offices to track updates and share information on trim developmentParticipate in trim review meetings and help to track feedback and follow-up itemsAssist with the preparation of trim projection charts for samplingConduct online research and assist in identifying current and emerging trends, new materials, and vendor innovations for upcoming seasonsHelp create seasonal trend boards and presentation materials for design and sourcing teamsAssist with documenting and distributing seasonal trim standards to sourcing partnersSpecial projects as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities/Education:Bachelor's Degree in Textile/Product Development or related fieldPrior internships and/or related experience preferredExcellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detailAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skillsConsistent in-office presence is vital to the role as it is for all Haddad Brands team members, so that we all have a full appreciation, aesthetically and tactilely, of the qualities that define our brand partners' products and set them apart from their competitors
