Investment Banking Vice President | FinTech

Job Overview Houlihan Lokey, Inc. (NYSE:HLI) is a leading global investment bank. Responsibilities Vice Presidents are primarily responsible for managing all aspects of the M&A process, including: Supporting the development of process design Overseeing the development of marketing materials and analyses Managing deal execution (providing leadership and guidance to junior team members) Involved with new business generation, maintaining relationships with clients, and developing and supporting pitches to new business prospects. Key Duties as VP – FinTech Practice Manage all aspects of a transaction process and be the day to day "quarterback" for the deal Manage the development of and explain historical and projected financial analyses Coordinate and perform business due diligence and execute M&A transactions Oversee the preparation of marketing pitches, confidential information presentations, management presentations, and other presentations as needed Oversee the development of valuation and ad hoc financial analyses Assist in the marketing and execution of existing engagements Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors Supervise and mentor junior staff members Work Environment The environment at Houlihan Lokey is collegial and entrepreneurial. Basic Qualifications Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance Undergraduate degree 6+ years of Investment Banking experience Strong analytical/technical and qualitative abilities Preferred Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong financial and computer skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Excellent public speaking and presentation skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple project deliverables simultaneously Extensive operational financial modeling and valuation experience Hands‑on M&A sell‑side experience Transaction experience in FinTech/FIG is a plus Compensation and Benefits Competitive total compensation package, may include discretionary incentive compensation.
