We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Pediatric Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Pediatric Cardiac Care Unit (ACCU). Required Skills: Current PA licensure and certification with active NCCPA credentialing Critical care certification (e.g., BC Critical Care) required Proven experience in pediatric acute or critical care settings Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and patient management skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to complex patient needs Excellent communication and documentation skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience managing patients with ventricular assist devices, ventilators, and inotropic infusions Familiarity with pediatric heart failure and transplant care Prior experience working in a tertiary or academic medical center Advanced skills in invasive procedures and ventilator management Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program At least 2 years of pediatric critical care or cardiology experience preferred Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and other relevant specialties Other Requirements: Willingness to work 13-hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled Ability to handle high-acuity cases with professionalism and resilience Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Travel or licensing reimbursements available if applicable This is your chance to elevate your career while making a profound difference in the lives of critically ill children.
