Overview
Ultrasound Technologist (Ultrasound Tech) – Burlington, VT. Travel assignment starting 09/03/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,312–$2,508 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: four 10-hour night shifts (Sun–Wed, 8:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.). Work setting: a large teaching medical center with two campus sites.

- Travel pay tiers based on mileage: travel 101 miles; radius 51–100 miles; local 50 miles or less
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across abdomen, gynecology, breast imaging, and vascular studies; assist with breast biopsies as needed
- Obtain and optimize high-quality images, annotate findings, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Prepare patients, position them appropriately, and explain procedures to support accurate examinations
- Operate the ultrasound equipment and related software; document procedures and results in the electronic medical record (Epic experience within the past 2 years is required)
- Collaborate with radiologists and breast care team to support diagnostic workups and biopsies; maintain sterile technique and safety standards

Requirements
- ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and vascular applications
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
- Experience in a breast care center and performing breast biopsies
- Large teaching hospital experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- License on file at time of submission; BLS certification; Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)
