WAGE: $25/HR

Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to help keep production running safely and efficiently. Essential Duties Perform preventive and routine maintenance on production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems. Repair or replace worn or damaged components. Perform basic welding, fabrication, and machine repairs as needed. Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance issues before breakdowns occur. Assist with installation, setup, and adjustment of new or existing equipment. Maintain and repair facility systems, including lighting, doors, plumbing, and other general building equipment. Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and other maintenance equipment safely. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Respond to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance requests. Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and OSHA guidelines. Keep the maintenance area, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Work with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred. Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read basic schematics, drawings, and equipment manuals. Comfortable using common hand and power tools. Basic welding or fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to learn new equipment and maintenance procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods. Ability to lift and move maintenance parts and equipment as required. Ability to work around manufacturing machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
